Philosophy
Using my
talents and gifts for the benefits of others not myself. Living a healthy
lifestyle including staying fit, attending Church, close friends and personal
meditation will assist me in staying focused on my path. Honesty,
integrity, and empathy are attributes that guide my choices and decisions.
Strategic

Preparation
Ø Goal: Dedicate 3 hours per school day and 4-5
hours per non-school day to studying by reviewing notes, completing homework
and to stay organized by using on-line applications and utilizing available
school resources for help resulting in a GPA of 3.6 or higher.

Check on-line
applications for updates and needed information prior to beginning homework
o
To create a
peaceful study environment by turning off electronic devices during study hours
o
To dedicate the
hours of 7pm to 10pm weekdays for studying
o
To block out time
on weekends for studying while still being socially engaged in my community,
school and friendships
Ø Goal: Strengthen my critical thinking skills

Take one on-line
standardized test per month to strengthen and sharpen my test taking skills and
strategies

Read one book per
semester outside of required class reading

Utilize available
resources to develop stronger story problem skills utilizing math and science
concepts

to improve my formal writing techniques

Goal:
Personal Accountability: to listen attentively, ask thoughtful questions
and answer when appropriate resulting in becoming a positive contribution to

Ø Goal: Work with my mentors to create
programs and opportunities that benefit others/society

Create
a challenging and informative shadowing program for high school students

execute an in school student-teacher mentor program

Develop
educational tools to bring awareness of the direct and indirect causes
resulting from obesity in a fun and informative way
